PLAN NOW TO JOIN SATURDAY’S MAY 8TH JOHN LEWIS DAY OF ACTION!

On May 8th, the entire nation will move as one in Good Trouble! Watch the 12 – 2 PM EDT National Broadcast Virtually. Then gather for local press conferences, followed by John Lewis Votercades in 130 cities. End the day of action at the Celebration, Activisim and TeachIn villages. Speakers and performers include Marc Morial, Wade Henderson, Martin Luther King III, Helen Butler, Dolores Huerta, Chrys Matthews, Luenell Campbell, Maria Teresa Kumar, Georgene Louis and many more. Help us tell Congress that they must end the scourge of voter suppression sweeping our nation by passing S1 For The People Act, HR4 The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and S51 The DC Admissions Act.

Our thanks to the thousands of volunteers who have helped us to reach over 130 events posted here! Please publicize to your friends, colleagues, family and members as we are only days away. Planning Meetings are Thursdays at 4pm ET – link to join
National Broadcast committee will meet Tuesdays, Tuesday, May 3, at 4:30 PM Eastern Time. link to join .
The Teach-in Committee will meet on Fridays at 1pm ET. link to join.
The Votercade planning committee will meet Wednesdays at 4pm ET with the same l ink to join .
Meetings for the communications/ social media committee will be Wednesdays at 2pm ET. link to join.

There is an Act Blue link where folks can contribute to the Day of Action. Here is a sample email if you can ask your members to contribute.
